Teaching and Career Development Fellowship Deadline
Date and Time
Applications for a Teaching and Career Development Fellowship are invited from doctoral students, who are passionate about teaching innovation and new pedagogies. The Fellowships are sponsored by the Office of the Provost and tenable in the First-Year Seminar Program.
The Fellowship, developed in cooperation with CUPE 3913, will provide doctoral students with the opportunity to design and deliver a First-Year Seminar.
Applications will be accepted from individuals and teams of two. Team-teaching applications are encouraged. The First-Year Seminar Program provides undergraduate students in their first year of study the opportunity to participate in interdisciplinary courses with a cap of small group of students (approximately 22) focused on active learning and student engagement. Seminars emphasize oral presentation, writing, and research methodologies in the context of interdisciplinary, collaborative and experiential learning. Seminars are focused on themes and questions of contemporary interest and provide intriguing and inter/multidisciplinary approaches.
