The Food Science department at Guelph is world renowned. I am happy with my decision to pursue graduate studies and the university continues to surpass my every expectations.
I have had the opportunity to share my research results with farmers, and help teach them how to identify mild lameness in their herds, which improves the overall herd health and production for the farmer, as well as welfare for the cows.
Not only do I feel supported by my professors, but they motivate me to be a better researcher. The skills I've received from the Guelph faculty are invaluable, and I know that they have prepared me for whatever opportunities follow my degree.
