The Office of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies will be closed from December 23, reopening on Thursday, Jan 2nd at 8:30 am.
The Schlaf Research Group aims to develop new homo- and heterogeneous catalysts and processes for the conversion of sugars, such as xylose and glucose obtained from the hydrolysis of ligno-cellulosic biomass, to value-added chemicals, such as polymer components, solvents, pharmaceutical precursors and high-energy density fuels.
