About my research:
I'm a veterinary scientist interested in the ecological drivers of immune phenotypes and infectious diseases susceptibility in free-ranging mammals.
How will my research Improve Life:
It is not well understood what makes some wild animals more likely to spread infections to other animals and people. We expect to help solve this puzzle by studying how free-ranging mammals develop their adult immune phenotypes and how these phenotypes impact susceptibility to infection.
