Postdoctoral Scholar in Career Sustainability

General Outline of Duties
Working under the supervision of the Associate Dean, Research and Graduate Studies, Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics, the successful candidate will will:
- Develop mew research projects related to career sustainability, particularly for early career entrants
- Lead a team of graduate and undergraduate students, including recruitment, selection, orientation, training and supervision of student researchers
- Supporting applications for major external research grants, including literature review, application writing, budget creation and selection of reviewers
- Initiating and conducting literature reviews in support of publications and grant applications
- Writing and revising manuscripts for publication and managing the submission process
- Designing study methodology and implementing data collection, including research ethics approval protocols
Teaching Requirement: Undergraduate and graduate teaching are optional
Student/Employee Supervision: Supervision of undergraduate and graduate researchers
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Management
- Record of publications in career sustainability
- Background in psychology or educational/vocational counselling research
- Experience with knowledge mobilization (e.g., news media, Conversation.com, etc.)
- Success in external major grant or major scholarship application
Start Date of Appointment: 15-SEP-2025
Anticipated Hours/Days of Work (at time of posting): Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Salary Range (Minimum: 65,000
Salary Range (Maximum): 75,000
Salary Information Salary is contingent on prior work experience and publication record.
