About my research…

My research focuses on the biological effects of agri-foods examined in human clinical trials. I am also interested in understanding consumption patterns of agri-foods in different population segments, particularly older adults. I am also active in the Guelph Family Health Study and examine diet-related research questions that are relevant to family health.

How my research improves life…

My research aims to create evidence to support a role for specific foods for disease risk reduction and health promotion. My research also aims to identify knowledge gaps about agri-foods that can be incorporated into feasible strategies that enable increased consumption to improve health.
