Why did you choose Guelph?

Choosing the prestigious University of Guelph for my graduate studies was a decision that involved careful consideration of various factors. Despite the other institutions like the University of Ottawa or European universities such as Uppsala, I ultimately opted for Guelph for several compelling reasons.

First and foremost, the program offered at Guelph aligned perfectly with my interests and career aspirations. Focused on innovation, commercialization, and entrepreneurship, it presented a unique opportunity to delve into areas that deeply resonated with me. The prospect of gaining expertise in these fields was immensely appealing and played a pivotal role in my decision. Moreover, the caliber of the professors at Guelph was a decisive factor. I was impressed by their diverse backgrounds, which encompassed both academia and hands-on experience in entrepreneurship. Their combined wealth of knowledge and practical insights promised a rich learning experience that I believed would greatly benefit my academic and professional growth.

Another significant factor was the proximity of Guelph to Toronto. Being close to such a bustling hub of business and innovation meant access to a myriad of networking events, conferences, and opportunities for professional development. As someone who values networking and believes in the power of forging connections, this proximity was a major advantage that I couldn't overlook. Furthermore, the option of a course-based program was important to me. It provided the flexibility and structure that I needed to tailor my academic journey according to my goals and interests, while also ensuring a well-rounded education
