About my research…

My research interests range from theoretical to applied genetics and genomics in livestock breeding. My current research focuses on the use of genomic information to enhance genetic evaluation of livestock species with emphasis on genomic selection.

How the research improves life…

My research lab focuses on genetic improvement of livestock species aiming to increase production of safe and affordable food. My research group has been instrumental in the implementation of leading edge genomic evaluations in livestock species in Canada.
