About my research
I develop innovative Bayesian, spatiotemporal, and time series methods to solve problems in epidemiology/public health. In the coming years, I am looking to develop a statistical framework and workflow for the analysis of surveillance data for infectious diseases.
How my research improves life
Epidemiological data is often very complex and subject to a variety of biases. The quantitative tools that my team develops will help epidemiologists and public health professionals make better informed decisions.
Why choose U of G?
- Developing rigorous statistical/data science methods that have real-world utility.
- Working on novel or cutting-edge applications within the epidemiology/public health settings.
