Where are you currently working and what is your position? 

Modelling / Forecasting Senior Analyst at TD Bank. Main work is in liquidity modeling with treasury (TBSM). 

Why did you choose to complete your graduate studies at the University of Guelph? 

Guelph offered a wonderful environment for learning and growth. Professors are approachable and supportive. Classmates are collaborative. The courses build a strong foundation of economic & financial knowledge for which the department and graduates have been well acknowledged. 

How did your experience at the University of Guelph prepare you for your career? 

My experience at the University of Guelph prepared my skillset for the job market. The course content and project work developed my ability to identify and develop models used in risk management applications, with a toolbox of solid quantitative, programming, and written skills. Beyond theses skills, my experiences also created an effective communicator, being able to present complex material in a clear, concise manner is a key career competency.
