Program

Pathobiology

About my research:

Programmed cell death has several immunomodulatory properties. Research in my lab aims to understand the fundamental aspects of programmed cell death and its role in immunobiology.

How will my research Improve Life:

We harness basic immunobiology findings to design immunotherapies for fighting pathogens and growing tumors. Thus, my lab is exploring the potential of novel cancer-killing viruses to treat cancer and improve life.

Why choose grad studies at U of G?

Within the University of Guelph and the Department of Pathobiology, we have student-centered graduate programs providing cutting-edge research questions with abundant mentorship to discover novel biology that can perturb the current state of knowledge. Moreover, our programs connect students with leading institutions within Ontario and globally, thus providing employment opportunities for our graduates.
