About the work…
Sandra Rechico is the coordinator for The MFA in Studio Art. Her varied studio practice is currently focused on maps, routing, wayfaring, walking and everyday modernist blobs. She is also interested in public space as is
revealed in her past curatorial work, as co-curator of WADE (with Christie Pearson), a Toronto-wide weekend of art in Toronto's wading pools. Rechico has exhibited across Canada, Europe and in Australia. Her work has been featured in numerous publications and is held in many public and private collections.
