2017 University of Guelph 3MT® Winners:
1st Place: Shanthanu KrishnaKumar, OAC - Enhancing Shelf Life of Fruit Using Hexanal

On April 12th, 2017 Shanthanu represented the University of Guelph at the Ontario 3MT® competition at the University of Waterloo. Shanthanu placed in the top 5 and moved on to the National Competition. At the National Competition, Shanthanu won both First Place and the People's Choice award - the first time in Canadian 3MT history that the national competition awarded both top prizes to one person. Congratulations Shanthanu on this incredible accomplishment.

Congratulations to Meghan Yip who won 1st place at the provincial competition hosted by Western University. Meghan went on to represent Ontario at the National 3MT Competition held by the Canadian Association of Graduate Studies (CAGS). Well done Meghan!

On April 18th, 2013 Mary Anne Smith and Krista Mitchnick flawlessly represented the University of Guelph at the Ontario3MT® competition. With 34 competitor's in total from 16 Ontario Universities, the competition was an excellent showcase of the vast areas of research from across the province. Congratulations to the University of Toronto placing both 1st and 2nd, and to the University of Waterloo who placed 3rd. Thank you to Queen's for their excellent organization and hospitality.
