  • Scholarship Information Covered by Awards Officers in this Session:
    1. CIHR/NSERC/SSHRC CGS-Master's Awards - Information on Canada Graduate Scholarships (CGS) Master's scholarships and advice on application procedures will be provided for the Natural Sciences & Engineering Research Council (NSERC), the Canadian Institutes for Health Research (CIHR) and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC). Students who are enrolled in the first year of a Master's program or senior undergraduate students who are planning to pursue graduate studies should plan to attend.
    2. Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Doctoral Scholarships - Information on the Doctoral scholarships offered by the Social Sciences & Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) will be provided. Students who are enrolled in or are planning to pursue PhD studies in the arts, humanities and/or social sciences should plan to attend.
    3. Ontario Graduate Scholarships (OGS) - Senior undergraduate students who plan to pursue graduate studies, as well as current Master's and Doctoral students, who meet the eligibility criteria should plan to attend this presentation. There are also a very limited number of OGS for which international students may apply.
    4. Tips for preparing a strong application will also be presented.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions at each of these sessions. If you are unable to attend, summaries of the presentations will be available on the Tools & Resources section of the Office of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies' website one week following the presentation date.
