About the Campus...

U of G has a fantastic intramural program. I played ice hockey and dodge ball, but there are many other sports offered. In addition, the University has a brand new physical education building and every student has access to basketball, gyms, the pool, and hot tub.

Why I Chose Guelph...

I chose to study at the University of Guelph because the Department of Physics is highly active in research, with many dedicated faculty members who love what they do. The campus is beautiful. A short walk past east hall and you can enjoy the Arboretum, which is home to many species of trees, both domestic and international.

About My Advisor...

My advisor was extremely supportive of my research activities. He was always open to meeting with me to analyze data or answer questions that I may have had. Beyond his support in the lab, he also allowed and encouraged me to participate in extracurricular activities which enriched my experience here.

About the City...

I like living in Guelph because of the green space. I am originally from Ottawa, and I really appreciate a nice park, which Guelph has no shortage of.

My Future Plans...

Being a graduate student at Guelph is fun! Collecting and analyzing data is what I enjoy most about science, and it is what I do on a daily basis. After I graduate I hope to conduct research in industry, although I am in no rush to leave the University!
