How my Research will Improve Life...
My research investigated the interaction between surface and subsurface water to get a better understanding of interactions that occur between them, to find the answers to many recent groundwater contaminant sources. Various Softwares are available in the market for predicting flow in surface water and groundwater individually. However, the interactions occurring between them always becomes a loophole for the hydrologist. Therefore, my project investigated the interaction between surface and subsurface water to get a better understanding of interactions that occur between them, which might be able to give answers to many recent groundwater contaminant sources.
Why I Chose Guelph…
Professors at the University of Guelph are exemplary in their professional acumen. Over and above this, there are plenty of opportunities, like Teaching Assistantship (GTA) and Research Assistantship (RA), for an international graduate student to help fund their studies.
About the City of Guelph…
Firstly, the City of Guelph is in close proximity to GTA with all basic amenities and is a very calm living place. There is always something to do, whether during the week or on the weekend, especially in Downtown Guelph. From bars and pubs to National Historic Sites (Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate Church or the John McCrae House).
About Campus…
The University of Guelph has three popular traditions for its students: dressing the bear, painting the cannon, and the defence mug. While these may seem a little bit silly and make you feel like you are in a cheesy college movie, they are so much fun. Traditions like these create lasting memories with friends and can turn out to be those special moments that turn classmates into lifelong friends.
