About your research...
In the Flow of Consciousness Lab (FoCL), my students and I are endeavouring to measure aspects of everyday thought, including the nature and frequency of off-task thought. Our lab follows open science practices and I am a signatory of the Openness Initiative. I approach my work as a Descriptive Psychologist.
How does your research "Improve Life"?
My students and I Improve Life by helping people understand themselves and their worlds.
Why choose to pursue studies in Psychology at UofG?
Our faculty are passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of applied social psychologists. Our graduate students go on to excellent positions in industry, government, and academe.
