About my research…

My graduate students and I conduct research in environmental toxicology. We investigate the effect of various chemicals on aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. In particular, we investigate the fate and effects of pesticide in the environment. We are also very interested in freshwater mollusks.

How my research improves life…

Our research helps us to understand the potential risks that chemicals used in society pose to ecosystems. A large number of chemicals are manufactured to improve our way of life, but we want to make sure that the release of these chemicals into the environment does not have an adverse impact on the Earth's ecosystems, on which we also rely.

Why choose U of G grad studies…
